Giveaway!

I decided to do a giveaway last week, and paypal kinda messed me up with that. I learned my lesson and now... we are taking donations to raise money for my book to get published. You have a chance to win some awesome prizes for donating! $1.00 gets you one chance, or $10.00 gets you 20 chances. You can donate as much as you'd like, as many times as you'd like. 2 people will be picked at random on February 28th, and winners will be posted March 1st.

Winners will receive:

Grand Prize winner will recieve a Cookie Lovers treat basket, a Kong brand toy, a Hand Painted Picture frame, and a 3 pack of hand crafted cards. I get pretty crafty, so I can promise you that you will love all the hand made prizes, and your pooch will surely enjoy all of their homemade baked goods!

Runner up, aka the 2nd name drawn will receive 1 batch of any Cookie or treat that has been featured on my blog, & a set of 3 hand crafted cards!

Please remember that any and all money raised is going towards getting my cookbook published! This is a huge thing to me, & I hope you will help me get there!

Money can be sent to my paypal account: spencerandruby@gmail.com. Please, if you can, send it as a gift, so paypal doesn't take a fee, and be sure to include your name, and current email address in the memo so I can contact the winners! Please do not include the word "raffle" anywhere in the memo as Paypal will not accept it and make me close down my donation/giveaway.

Thank you all in advance!

These delicious frozen concoctions were a big hit this morning. I thought of Elvis, as I was mixing the peanut butter and banana together. It's a winning combination, no wonder it was Elvis' favorite!

Made with a few simple ingredients, and frozen over night, the girls enjoyed every last lick.

Ingredients; yogurt, peanut butter, banana, carob, water. (Munchie sticks were used as the sticks.)

Carob!

I found some awesome Carob at The Natural Market in Groton, MA today. Awesome store, awesome staff & FREE organic tea. My trip to that store was amazing.

ANYWHO... I'm going to make a handful of new recipes. So, I'm sure my blog will be overflowing with new creations over the weekend! :)

Lobstah Bones!

It's Lobstah, not Lobster. Especially in New England. Seriously, after I pulled these out of the oven, my kitchen smelled like I was at Red Lobster. I'm now very, very hungry for seafood.

Ingredients; Flour, Powdered Milk, Egg, Water, Lobster Base, Parsley.

Mini PB&J sandwiches!

Just made these! Super easy and they smell SO good!
Just like a PB&J sandwich, without the crust! Just like when you were a kid! :)

Ingredients; Flour, Peanut Butter, Water, Oil, Strawberry Jam.

Dehydrated Chicken Jerky!

So easy to make. Just thinly slice your raw chicken breast, and put in your dehydrator for 6-ish hours.
My girls love these, and it's so much better than buying them from a store because, 1; they are cheaper to make them, and 2; you know what's in them. Most of the store brand ones are made in China, which is scary if you think about it. Too many dogs die each year, from treats and foods made in China.

Ingredients; Chicken breast.

Peanut Butter PupTarts!

Easy, fun & so yummy!
I had a blast making these! It was fun making them look like the real "PopTart"! & The girls approved of these in a heartbeat!

Ingredients; Flour, Peanut Butter, Water, Vegetable oil, Yogurt chips for icing.

Puppy Dog Croissants

These were fun to make. I originally made them for my mom's rabbits. But they are SO picky with their treats, so I ended up making the rest of the batch for my girls. They LOVE them. They are super crunchy, which is a plus to clean their little toofers! :D

ingredients; flour, powdered milk, water, egg, cheese.

Welcome!

I'm Jess & I have two adorable Boston Terriers.
I bake a lot of Dog Cookies and treats.
I'm here to share my tips & advice when you're in the kitchen, cooking for your little pooch!

I'm currently working on getting a cookbook together, to offer to people who are interested, so I usually won't post my recipes here, but I will always include the ingredients! All treats I make are Human grade, and good for your pets!

Thank you to http://www.cartoonizemypet.com/ for the animation in my header.
